As part of the levels that compose “Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising”, the sequel game inspired by the television series “Cobra Kai”, All Valley Tournament level was inspired by the great karate tournaments present in the series.
Even though it's a very simple level, it's among one of my favorites in this project. Based on the images from the series, I have built the arena that would host the climax of the game, the Valley tournament that is used both in the story mode and in the game's own mode.
I have done some studies about the original arena and was given creative freedom to make some adaptations to bring this environment closer to a more television aesthetic, keeping in mind that it would be like this in the season of the series that was about to be released. I was responsible for creating the blueprint, the blockout of the level and also the prop placement. As the fights at this level would not be the same as the rest of the game, I was not in charge of balancing, but I was able to contribute with ideas that would add up to the experience of this environment so that it was close to the big fight event, similar to UFC or WWE, in due proportions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Level’s blueprint;
Level’s blockout do level;
Prop Placement.
